Our regular services are described below. If you are intending to come to a particular service, please check our online calendar, as occasionally services times change.
Every Sunday 10am |
Sung Eucharist with Junior Church Our main weekly service with music usually led by our choir, including congregational hymns, a psalm, a sung service setting and an anthem. This service usually includes our Junior Church. On some Sundays during the year we aim this service more directly at younger members of the congregation whilst maintaining the overall structure, and on these occasions the junior members are encouraged to lead the prayers and readings, and the sermon is often replaced with a sketch or drama. |
Usually the third Sunday of the month (note new week) and some festivals 4:30pm |
Choral Evensong Evensong follows an ancient pattern of worship, allowing the choir to lead the service with a variety of sacred music. It lasts about 45 minutes and provides space for reflection as we look towards the coming week. We sometimes move the date of this service to coincide with a festival, so please see News and Events, the Magazine or the online calendar to confirm service dates. |
Usually the fourth Sunday of the month 5pm |
Iona Service It is a quiet reflective service and will be followed by refreshments and fellowship. |
Every Thursday 11am |
Eucharist A short mid-week communion service. |
Festival services are held as appropriate throughout the year, with particular highlights being the annual Advent and Christmas Carol services and the Holy Week and Easter services. Often those festival services are held jointly with our Local Ministry Group partners. See the News and Events page for details.
